We have successfully completed another giant project for a business partner requiring large-scale raw-material storage and homogeneous blending. Engineered end to end, this investment is a comprehensive storage and mixing solution in which every stage — from design and manufacturing to on-site transport and commissioning — was carried out with great care.
Within the project scope, we completed the production and installation of 6 modular silos of 75 m³ together with a total of 6 aluminium raw-material storage silos of 120 m³ (3+3), bringing everything fully online with the completion of the second phase. The plant now has a strong infrastructure to store its raw materials at high capacity, safely and under full control.
A Giant Silo Investment Completed in Two Phases
Silos on this scale mean not only a large storage volume but also a serious logistics and assembly operation. Each silo was delivered to the site piece by piece on special transport vehicles; the installation sequence and crane operations were planned in advance and positioned so as not to disrupt the production flow.

Once installation was complete, the result was a vertical silo group capable of meeting the plant's raw-material needs over the long term. Thanks to the modular architecture, the system was designed not only to meet today's capacity but also to adapt flexibly to potential future growth scenarios.

A Stainless Vertical Mixer Designed for the Production Floor
At this scale, it is critical not only to store the material but also to blend it quickly and homogeneously. To meet this need, a stainless vertical mixer was designed to the maximum size that fits the production area and integrated into the system.

The mixer was dimensioned to ensure a balanced blend of the material even within the giant silo volumes. In this way, a recipe-accurate, repeatable and homogeneous mixture is achieved, safeguarding consistency in final product quality.

To move the material drawn from the silos through a clean, closed line, the discharge and feeding lines were also manufactured in stainless steel. These lines minimise dust and raw-material loss while making maintenance easier.

30 Years of Experience and Strong R&D
Manufacturing systems of this size and running them smoothly is only possible with a strong engineering foundation. We successfully brought to the field the extensive R&D required for the giant silo volumes, the production-floor-specific mixer design and the integrated feeding lines — backed by 30 years of industry experience.
This experience ensured not only the correct sizing of the equipment but also the predictable and safe management of the transport, assembly and commissioning processes from start to finish.
Concrete Gains Achieved on the Floor
The improvements achieved at the plant once the system was commissioned show that this is not merely a storage investment but a genuine production transformation:
- The chaos created by manual raw-material movements came to an end; the need for forklifts and pallet trucks was eliminated.
- Persistently unsafe recipe data was brought under control, reducing quality problems and preventing high-scrap production.
- The need for multiple operators and the extra costs tied to searching for highly qualified staff were reduced to zero.
We thank our entire team who contributed to this project, which delivers full automation and high efficiency in production. We will continue with the same determination to develop solutions that add value to industry and build sustainable, safe production models at any scale.
